Constantinos: My name is Constantinos Antoniou, and I am handling all of the community aspects of Panther. I’ve been involved and Co-founded local communities in my country Cyprus. Organized a few conferences and I’ve been advising projects in terms of marketing and community. I was also the head of research at D-CORE, a crowdsourcing platform where we research and analyze Blockchain projects.

Andrew: I’m the head of marketing at Panther Protocol. I’ve been in the blockchain space full time for the last five years, headed marketing at Ambisafe back in 2017, headed marketing at Propy.com, and bootstrapped a couple of my own marketing blockchain-specific ventures.

I came up with the Digital Independence Declaration idea (digindec.com) that brought me to Panther Protocol — I’m betting on privacy and human rights.

Constantinos: Panther Protocol is an end-to-end privacy protocol for DeFi. Panther provides DeFi users with fully collateralized privacy-enhancing digital assets, leveraging crypto-economic incentives and zkSNARKs technology. Users are able to mint zero-knowledge zAssets by depositing digital assets from any blockchain into Panther vaults. zAssets will become an ever-expanding asset class for users who want their transactions and strategies the way they should always have been: private.

Panther is compatible with AML regulations globally through the use of the Panther Metastrate — a zero-knowledge data layer that enables users to disclose all or some of their transaction histories to parties of their choosing, either fully or through the use of zk attestations.

Hydra: do you have the story behind this project? or can you please explain why you choose the name “ Panther Protocol “?

Constantinos: It all started when our Co-founder Dr Anish Mohammed and Oliver Gale met at a crypto conference and realised that both had the same concerns about on-chain surveillance and how DeFi can benefit from privacy solutions. They realised that we had complementary strengths and knowledge and the desire to bring change, so they started to develop the idea. The idea attracted a lot of talented people who stood behind it and wanted to help.

Andrew: For the long term it’s mostly about partnerships and product development. We see a huge opportunity to build privacy solutions for some of the established L1, L2 projects.

3.What features do you hope to deliver that make Panther stand out from its competitors?

Constantinos: Maybe the biggest differentiator that Panther has over its competitors is its unique approach to compliance. Other ‘Privacy’ networks do not provide privacy, instead, they provide private solutions. Their users do not have the option to disclose information to 3rd parties like financial institutions, their accountant, or the tax department for compliance purposes.

Panther empowers DeFi users with full privacy, while also enabling them to provide different levels of disclosures for certain transactions.

Selective disclosures are the future of compliance and the game-changer institutional users have been waiting for as it puts them in control, providing unstoppable privacy and freedom to share data with whomever they decide.

Hydra: 4. Do you have any strategic partnerships that are backing your project? @Consanto @andrewzap

Andrew: In terms of partnerships, we have an extensive pipeline that we will continue to announce. So far we have announced the partnership with Flare Network and StackOS to deploy Panther’s privacy solution to their respective networks, expanding our interoperability.

Additionally, our partnership with Vegaswap is also very important as Vegaswap will list the Panther Token, $ZKP, on the exchange and Panther will include Vegaswap in its Treasury Management. In addition to integrating into the Vegaswap platform and MetaMask API, Vegaswap will act as a Privacy Miner for Panther.

Our most recent partnership is with Sentinel, a powerful protocol that enables the development of third-party and white-label decentralized Virtual Private Network (dVPN) services. There’s quite a bit of partnership coming out in the next couple of weeks, but we just can’t disclose them now until they’re final and signed.

Our major announcement with one of the well-respected ETH scaling solutions is being prepared and should go out sometime this or early next week.

Could you please share with us your long-term goals for the sector in which you create your project and your vision that will carry you to these goals? Currently, we are super focused on the Public Sale of our token $ZKP in a few weeks and subsequently the release of our MVP on Polygon and later on Ethereum. We have a long roadmap ahead of us not only for the rest of the year. We know that Panther is going to be a foundational project, not a fad, so we, as a team and community, are ready to roll up our sleeves and build. Our beliefs are aligned with the work we are doing and we are aware that building the infrastructure for privacy is going to take time and effort.

Constantinos: As mentioned above we are gearing up for the Public Sale and release of our MVP which will be built on Polygon and will serve as the proof of concept for Panther Protocol. It will feature many of the technology components such as Minting & Burning of zAssets, zAsset mixing, Privacy relayers, $ZKP token, voluntary disclosure of transactions and the initial Panther DAO setup.

In Q4 2021, we will continue by improving upon existing features of the Protocol and launch the Panther on another peerchain. In Q1 2022 we will introduce our first iteration of Panthers’ Private Interchain DEX, building the protocol’s first bridge towards complete interoperability.

1. What is your opinion about the NFT industry? Has your project taken advantage of this trend yet?

Andrew: Not directly but we intend to also provide privacy for NFTs. StackOs will soon be introducing NFTs to its platform. Currently, NFT’s are public as they are on a public ETH chain, but StackOS will use Panther’s service to encrypt the NFT data, making NFT interaction within the StackOS platform private.

Hydra: 2. What is the tokenomics of your token, and how do you stimulate the users to hold your token in the long run? @Consanto @andrewzap

Constantinos: $ZKP is an ERC20 token and it is the fuel for the protocol. It has a finite supply of 1 Billion tokens which is expected to reach it over a 12 years time frame. The initial supply will be approximately 11% of the total supply.

Besides governance, It has other uses within the Panther ecosystem such as:

Pay for fees within the ecosystem

Get rewards for providing liquidity or other services for the protocol

Secure the interchain private DEX LP vaults

Constantinos: Security is our top priority. Users of Panther will be using the most secure privacy protocol for their assets. Panther development is guided by in-house security expertise. Our team has over 40 years of cumulative expertise in security, and have worked on securing some well-known protocols in this space. The smart contract stack will be fully audited by industry-recognized security researchers prior to launch.

Sen: Panther offer to the user the possibility of obtaining Privacy with their Digital assets through its unique ZAssets, so can you explain to us what is the process to mint these tokens? Also, only Cryptos can be collateralized of real-world assets can too?

Cậu Vàng: Does your project support staking program? if yes. how is your stake system work, what is the requirement for users if they want to stake in your platform? Do you have a Token Burning plan to increase Token value and attract Investors to invest?

Constantinos: Privacy mining is a specialized form of liquidity mining that results in making it probabilistically hard to nail down the correlation between a given transaction on a blockchain and the identity of a person. Privacy mining is what enables Panther to facilitate a way to safely transact across all major DeFi platforms.

The process starts from the Panther pools where ‘privacy miners’ deposit. Just like liquidity pools, which serve as the backbone of decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, in a similar construct, Panther Pools are a collection of assets locked in a smart contract that enable users to privately deposit, withdraw, and transact zAssets.

As Panther Pools grow and the number of transactions in the anonymity set increases, so too do the quality and cost efficiencies of decentralized transactional obfuscation that Panther Provides.

For making liquidity available for privacy mining, contributors to Panther Pools are rewarded in ZKP, Panther network’s native token. The number of fees they earn are in accordance with the size and length of their deposit
