Panther Building Momentum: Introducing the Panther Limited Mainnet Beta

Table of Contents:
The Panther Protocol Foundation is taking an important step toward achieving its mission of private DeFi with the launch of its Limited Mainnet Beta on Polygon. The mainnet beta is Panther’s bounded testing environment, running on the Polygon mainnet Network. It is designed to operate under real-world conditions and serves as a sandboxed blockchain environment where features are tested and validated before being deployed into production.
Eurobit, a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) will serve as the Zone Manager for the Beta’s Zone. Zone Managers are responsible for managing specific Zones—logically partitioned groups of assets and users—within the network, ensuring transactions comply with regulatory requirements. The beta test will operate with a single Zone.
Incentives for Participants
Panther has structured an attractive rewards program to encourage active participation in the beta:
- Total Rewards: A total of 4 million $ZKP tokens has been allocated for incentives the beta test, with an additional 1 million $ZKP being allocated to to subsidize network costs like gas fees, and bundler services
- Transaction-Based Rewards: Rewards will be distributed in proportion to transaction and mining activity along with other incentives, encouraging participants to actively engage in testing the network. For further information refer to our documentation.
Testing Period and Withdrawals
The beta will operate for a limited period of 2–3 months, followed by a 1–2 week grace period for participants to withdraw their assets and rewards.
Cutting-Edge Privacy and Compliance Features
Participants will have the opportunity to test Panther’s privacy and compliance features, including:
- Compliance Provider: PureFi will manage KYC and KYT processes, including wallet screening, to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
- Allowlisted Tokens: Participants will have access to up to 10 supported tokens on the Polygon network, including ZKP, POL, LINK, GRT, UNI, QUICK, and AAVE, enabling diverse and realistic testing scenarios.
- Transaction Limits: To maintain a controlled testing environment and to reduce the chance of loss of funds, daily transaction caps are implemented, ensuring the beta operates as a secure and well-sandboxed space for experimentation.
- Zone Manager: Eurobit will manage the Beta’s sole Zone, ensuring smooth operations and the integrity of all testing activities.
Testing zSwap and Community Mining
The beta test includes testing Panther’s zSwap feature, integrated with Uniswap V3 and QuickSwap on Polygon. Additionally, the test will leverage community-run miners, ensuring decentralization and fostering active engagement.
